Swansea have been given permission to speak to Wigan assistant manager Graeme Jones over the vacant managerial role at the club

Jones – who was assistant to Roberto Martinez at the club – has been instilled today as the odds on favourite to take over following the departure of Brendan Rodgers to Liverpool.

Jones followed Martinez to the DW stadium three years ago and was linked with the position when Paulo Sousa left in the summer of 2010.
