Davies was thrown in at the deep end earlier this season when Taylor broke his leg against Sunderland at the Liberty but has not looked back after a string of impressive displays including his Wales debut earlier on this season.
Davies is currently back with the Welsh squad knowing that Taylor is closing in on full fitness for both club and country.

โHeโs grown in stature and confidence. Offensively heโs getting better and better and heโs got a great mentality and attitude to football and heโs really done brilliantly.
โ Neil just has to get fit and he can worry about where heโs going to play after that. โBen will know heโs in good company when Neil gets fit, but all Neil has to focus on is getting himself ready and getting back.
โIf he gets back before the end of the season then heโs done well because it was a nasty injury.โ
