It was hinted last week that the Swans would look to open talks with the man who has steered them to the giddy heights of 7th in the Premier League and to their first major cup final as they look to try and frighten off anyone thinking they can poach him away from the club.
And it now seems that the manager is ready to sit down with the club and open those talks as his agent explained to the Evening Post.
Bayram Tutumlu, has been quoted in the Danish press saying that contract discussions are on the agenda.
“Yes, Swansea has a strong interest in extending Michael Laudrup’s contract,” Tutumlu said.
“And in the coming days, we will meet with Swansea and discuss the possibility of an extension.”
