The Swans have already won at Anfield once this season – in the League Cup back in October – and they head into the game ahead of Liverpool after the reds 2-0 home defeat to West Brom on Monday night.
Liverpool also have a poor record against sides in the Top 10 having secured just 7 points from 42 available in those fixtures this season.
But despite those stats, Laudrup insists that Liverpool remain favourites for the game and that the pressure is on them to gain the result expected of them.
Laudrup told the Western Mailย โWhen you go to Anfield itโs one of those grounds where you can never expect to get anything โ itโs like Old Trafford, the Etihad, the Emirates or Stamford Bridge.
โI know we have got some good results at some of those grounds this season, but normally the home team are the big favourites.
โSo, after beating Queens Park Rangers, we can go there with no pressure at all.
โThat doesnโt mean we will go there and give away the game, of course not โ we always want to be competitive.
โBut thereโs no pressure on us.
โThe pressure will be on Liverpool, they are the team who have to go into Europe.”
