Vorm should take his place between the sticks for that game but will find himself on the bench at Wembley as Laudrup has stated that Gerhard Tremmel will remain his goalkeeper in that competition.
Vorm returned from injury last week in the 4-1 win over QPR at the Liberty and he told the Evening Post “It’s never nice to miss games
“But at least this time I wasn’t out for quite so long, only two games, and it was great to be back.
“The QPR game was an important one for us. We did what we had to do and that was get the three points, which was very pleasing.
“We have so much quality in this team,” said Vorm.
“Even though Leon (Britton) was missing against QPR, Ki (Sung-Yueng) and Jonathan (de Guzman) did well in midfield and Kemy (Agustien) came on in the second half and did great.
“It’s a pleasure to play in this team โ it’s amazing.”
Vorm was part of a superb 4th Swansea goal last weekend that summed up the way that they play as a team and he added “That goal summed up our season really
“I always like to celebrate with the back four because we talk a lot during the game, and every player knows what they are doing.
“We are really showing what we can do now, especially at home.”
