Key Dates For The New Season

17th June 2013 – The first round draw is released for the Capital One Cup.   Due to our European qualification, the Swans will not enter the competition until the third round stage (the last 32)

19th June 2013 – All fixtures for the football league and the Premier League are released at 9am.

1st August 2013 – The 3rd round qualifying campaign of the Europa League starts.   We enter the competition at this stage and are currently one of the seeded teams at this stage.  Depending on who gets knocked out of the Champions League in the early stages we could also be seeded at the fourth and final qualifying stage.  Further dates to note for the Europa League are 8th August (second legs) and 22nd and 29th August which are the dates for the fourth qualifying stage.  The group stages start on 19th September.

17th August 2013 – The Premier League season starts.  The final date for Premier League fixtures this year is 11th May

Week commencing 23rd September 2013 – The Swans will begin their Capital One cup defence with the third round ties taking place this week.  Future dates are (all week commencing) 28th October (Round 4), 16th December (Round 5), 6th and 20th January (Semi Final legs) with the final at Wembley on 2nd March

4th January – This is the weekend of the third round FA Cup ties with future dates in this competition being 25th January, 15th February, 8th March, 12th April and the final at Wembley on 17th May.

And finally of note to all football fans is that the FIFA World Cup in Brazil starts on 12th June with the final in Rio on 13th July.
