Congratulations – Michu Called Up By Spain

Almost twelve months after he was promised a call up the Swansea man gets the first one ahead of the World Cup Qualifiers against Belarus and Georgia.

If the current World Cup holders get at least four points from the two games they will qualify for next summer’s finals in Brazil and Michu could play his part in those two games.

He played 90 minutes for the Swans today in their defeat at St Mary’s and received the good news after the game that he is now needed for international duty.
