Planet Swans ArchivesJust a short time after being linked with former Liverpool striker Ryan Babel today it is Sampdoria striker Stefano Okaka who is supposedly interesting us as we look to add a second striker to the squad.
Okaka – who had a brief spell on loan with Fulham back in 2010 – is a key member of the Sampdoria squad but reports in Italy suggest that he may be offloaded in the summer.
Sport Italia report that Garry Monk sees him as the perfect successor for Wilfried Bony and that he has a long standing interest in Okaka although I have to say that I cannot remember a link being made before but happy to be corrected
French side St Etienne are also reported to have interest in the player.
