Tabanou will challenge Neil Taylor for the left back spot as the Swans probably finish up their defensive options for the new season with a challenge for a starting spot across all positions.
Taylor found himself back at the forefront of the team last season following Ben Davies’ move to Spurs last summer and he was rewarded for some excellent displays with a new contract at the end of the season.
Add to that his starting spot in the Wales team and it was a good twelve months for Taylor and the signing of competition can only be good for us as it means that both players will be trying as hard as they can to get into the side.
Tabanou is expected to complete his £3.5m move in the next few days
