Leon Is Our Liberty Favourite

We have been asking fans for the past week who they think is the player they would list as the favourite which I guess is no real surprise given how close he is to the hearts of most of the fans at the club.

Leon arrived at the club at the back end of 2002 and has spent most of the last 13 years at the club bar a very brief spell at Sheffield United which ended after less than six months when Brendan Rodgers bought him back to Swansea.

Britton is one of just a few players who has played at the same club in all four divisions and that much should never be forgotten no matter what happens to him in the forthcoming season.

It does look like he is on his way from the Liberty this season having been left at home when the squad headed off to Germany on the pre-season tour last week but whilst he wants to stay I suspect most of the fans want him to stay as well?
