Kaboul had been widely criticised for some of his defending last weekend and was possibly under consideration as to whether he would keep his place or not ahead of the Swans visit
But the injury means that decision does not need to be taken and it is former Manchester United defender John O’Shea who will be in the Sunderland line up for the game.
O’Shea had been left out at the start of the season in favour of Kaboul and Coates which was something that Advocaat was explaining at his press conference
รขโฌลWe had to look forwards and those guys (Kaboul and Coates) are younger and quicker,รขโฌย added Advocaat.
รขโฌลJohn was not in his best shape and he knows that as well.
รขโฌลBut the good thing was, one which I really respect, was that when I told him, he said รขโฌหitรขโฌโขs a long season gafferรขโฌโข.
รขโฌลI believe in Kaboul, so I started with him.
รขโฌลBut I have to change that now because Kaboul is injured.รขโฌย
