We all know about the saga of Michu and how the club are struggling to offload him and of course there was the speculation over both Leon Britton and Nathan Dyer who both seemed to be on their way out at one point but the situation with Tiendalli seems to have just about gone by unnoticed.
He is still at Swansea but seems a long way from the first team. He wasn’t involved at all in the pre-season tour of Germany and since the arrive of Franck Tabanou (and Kyle Naughton back in January) his game time will be very limited and that is why the Swans have suggested that he finds a new club.
Whether he can do that as easily as it sounds remains to be seen but Garry Monk told the Evening Post “Game time for Dwight will be limited this season. I’ve had a good chat with him, we’ve spoken about that.
“We’re trying to help him by seeing what’s out there. But if not he is at the club. The rest of the squad is the squad I want to go forward with and that’s what we’re going to do.”
Tiendalli arrived at the Liberty in 2012 and has made 48 appearances, scoring one goal.
