Shelvey was called into the squad this week after some massively impressive performances for the Swans over the course of the last six months.
He has spoken this week about how he would like to cement his place in the team and with the European Championship finals just around the corner it would be perfect timing for him to show Roy Hodgson was indeed right to call him up.
Based on statistics he is the most creative player in the England squad and will certainly not look out of place on the international stage.
