It has certainly been a season of two halves for the Swans so far. The first mini session saw three wins and two draws to keep us in the Capital One Cup and move up to 4th in the Premier League table. Since the league returned it has been three defeats and a draw including the exit from the cup as we have slipped into the bottom half of the table.
And poor performances have assisted towards those poor results leaving the Swans in need of a better game tomorrow against Spurs to prevent the winless run extending to five games,
“It’s important that we improve as a team,” said Monk. “The two games we haven’t performed in – Watford and Southampton – have come in a short space of time and for me it is about us performing better and then we’ll be fine.
“The chances we have created have fallen to different players, but I don’t mind who scores because its all about winning games.
“It’s about that consistency level – to try and get back to where we were at the start of the season.”
