Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham at the Liberty left the Swans in 11th place in the Premier League table heading into the second international break of the season but they are also on a run that has seen them go five games without a win since the last international break finished.
Ki though is not concerned with the league table at this point in time and believes that the Swans can climb the table when they return with games against Stoke and Aston Villa the next two up for Garry Monk’s team.
รขโฌลWeรขโฌโขve made a decent start in the league, but we can do better” Ki told the official website.
รขโฌลThis season I think we have more quality in the squad, so we can push on and move up the table.
รขโฌลOur next game against Stoke will be crucial for us. Winning that will give us a lot of confidence and use that result to use as a platform to move up.”
For some players the journey to represent their country is always a long one but as captain Ki is happy to make the trip รขโฌลI have flown around the world playing for South Korea – this time itรขโฌโขs to Kuwait and then to Korea,รขโฌย said the 26-year-old.
รขโฌลItรขโฌโขs always a massive honour to play for your country. Being captain, too, is an even greater honour.”
