Iborra has been a part of the Seville squad that has won the last three Europa League competitions and whilst classed as a defensive midfielder he was used as an attacking threat last season and responded with 9 goals in 41 games.
The Swans are thought to still be in the market for a midfielder having completely missed out on former player Joe Allen who moved to Stoke and Iborra would certainly fit the bill if the rumours were to be true.
There were stories in the press earlier in the summer that Sunderland, Valencia and Ruban Kazan were all interested in the player with reported bids expected in the region of 8 million Euros. Seville are also reported to being resigned to losing the player who has scored 17 in 81 in all competitions for his current club.
