The appeal of a move to Stamford Bridge and the wages that go with it may also be difficult for Llorente to turn down although you may wonder at his age whether he is better getting regular football which is a key factor in his recent run of goals that has seen him net five in his last three Liberty appearances.
It has often been the way for any striker that a run of form is what brings the goals on a regular basis and you do wonder if being a backup and only called on occasionally will bring the goals that Chelsea would be looking for in any backup.
From a Swansea point of view you have to hope that we do not give up on the player who only arrived in Swansea this summer. And those goals have been key to us to keep us in almost touching distance of safety particularly when you think back to the two late strikes that gave us victory against Palace.
When transfer windows come around there is often a very easy way of dismissing or agreeing with speculation but this one is a tough one to call – I can see the merits in the discussion but to be honest I really just cannot see it coming off. Hope not anyway.
