Swansea City Ladies and Cardiff Met both secured five goal victories this afternoon to keep the title race neck and neck but the Swans know that four points from the remaining two games will see them retain their title.

Goals from Tija Richardson (2), Stacey John-Davis, Jess Williams and Emma Beynon meant a 5-0 win for the Swans who kept their 13th clean sheet in 14 league games this season into the bargain.

The Ladies were in typically dominant form as they brushed aside their opponents but remain 2nd place in the table after Cardiff Met also secured a five goal margin of victory in their 6-1 win over Briton Ferry.

The Swans have their game in hand against Abergavenny to play and a home game against Cardiff City but know now that four points will secure the title assuming that Cardiff Met do not drop any points in their remaining game.
