Bidwell undergoing Coventry City medical ahead of 3.5 year contract

Football Insider is reporting that Jake Bidwell is undergoing a medical at Coventry City after agreeing a permanent switch that is expected to be completed in the next 24 hours.

They also report that he has agreed terms on a three and a half year contract which will end his stay at Swansea which has largely been successful although it has become clearer in recent weeks that he was not part of Russell Martin’s long term thinking.

Bidwell has not featured for the Swans since the 2-0 win over Barnsley in November and Russell Martin confirmed at the weekend that he was “very close” to a move away from the club.

Nothing official has yet been reported by either club but expect this news very soon.
