Third QPR bid for Paterson rejected by the Swans

Gareth Vincent from BBC Sport is reporting that a third bid from QPR has bee rejected by the Swans with the R’s still “some way” short of the ยฃ750,000 valuation that has been placed on the head of Paterson.

There were two bids made at the weekend for Paterson, both rejected, and it seems as if QPR really have set their sights on securing him after failing to get anywhere with a move for Derby’s Tom Lawrence.

Vincent tweeted as below.

Paterson has been out of the first team picture at Swansea in recent weeks due to his head being turned by transfer interest from elsewhere with both Blackburn and Bournemouth reported earlier today as considering a move.

Russell Martin has been clear in his view that Paterson has been badly advised by those involved in this process and has given hints that he may welcome Paterson back into the squad and does not necessarily see his Swansea City career as over.

And it appears that unless Rangers move towards our valuation of the player that Martin could be right and would need to welcome him back into the squad.
