Russell Martin is facing somewhat of a selection dilemma particularly at wing back ahead of the home flash against Fulham on Tuesday night.
Cyrus Christie is ineligible to play against his parent club whilst Hannes Wolf has tested positive for Covid-19 leaving both the right and left wing back positions low on numbers.
Korey Smith who filled in for Wolf on the left side yesterday did well, but was visibly struggling before his substitution although Martin is confident that he will be available for Tuesday.
Andy Fisher also pulled up when he dived to make a save and looked in pain as he laid on his back; he then proceeded to aggravate the issue when taking a goal kick but like Smith he should be fine for Fulham.
The Swans will be bidding to make it three wins in a row for the first time this season when they welcome the runaway league leaders to the Swansea.com Stadium in a real rest of Martin’s men’s recent resurgence.
“Cyrus can’t play on Tuesday,” Martin told Wales Online. “But we have people desperate to be on the pitch and desperate to play.
“Joel Latibeaudiere came on and finished the game really well for us.
“Cyrus will be a miss for us there’s no doubt. Hannes will be a miss too. It’s a shame, but it seems to be the story of the season that he gets into a real rhythm and gets disrupted a little bit.
“Someone has the take the opportunity, and it’s a big opportunity.
