Reports on Twitter have suggested that the Swans have asked to take Rhian Brewster on loan for another season after the Liverpool striker has made such an impact during his time in South Wales.
With the youngster having scored 9 goals in just 18 starts for the Swans, a further year out of him would do our chances no harm next season and he would be welcomed back to South Wales with open arms if it were to happen.
However, according to the Anfield effect whilst Liverpool would be open to a second loan period for Brewster and if they elected to loan him out in the Premier League then they could be open to other moves and are supposedly impressed with the way that Swansea have helped Brewster’s development.
Five of Brewster’s goals have come since lockdown ended and have been one of the main reasons why we go into the last game of the season still with a chance of the play offs once again.
I expect this relationship to continue in coming season as well. #LFC are impressed with how Swansea are built and how theyโve looked after Rhian.
Especially with the link to Swansea boss, Cooper. If the Welsh side keep Cooper in charge then we could see these moves happening.

The Swans snapped up Brewster in the January transfer window also bringing in other youngsters Marc Guehi and Conor Gallagher to link up with Steve Cooper and it seems that Cooper in itself is a link to keep at least one of them at the club next term.ย ย If the Swans have looked already to extend the loan for Brewster then I would imagine they may have done the same for the other two, all three of whom could have a big part to play next season if they find themselves at the Liberty.
With the new season predicted to start on September 12, it could possibly be as little as a 5 week break for the Swans between campaigns which makes it even more imperative that we move quickly in a transfer window that could see big changes at the club with several key names out of contract and seemingly on their way out of the club.
Interesting times ahead.
