Swansea's vice captain has been in decent form of late as he deputised first for Dennis Lawrence and then saw his partner – Garry Monk – sidelined with an injury meaning the last two games – and possibly a third tomorrow – has been alongside Kris O'Leary.
And whilst he concedes that losing to Millwall is a setback he is adamant that there is no need for panic in the ranks as the Swans push on towards their ultimate goal ''Losing to Millwall was a setback for us, but it's not the end of the world,'' he told the Evening Post
''We've still got a healthy lead at the top and everything is still in our hands, so no-one should take the result out of context after everything we've done this season.
''It's never a smooth road to where you want to be. We always knew it wouldn't be plain sailing all the way to promotion and that's how it proved against Millwall.
''But maybe that is the kick up the backside we need to push us on for the rest of the season. The gaffer always says that you get a second chance in football, and our second chance comes against Tranmere tomorrow night. It's an opportunity for us to put things right.''
