It’s Watford For Now – Will It Be Hull?

Swansea City will take on Watford next season after Hull confirmed their place in the Championship play off final with a comprehensive 6-1 aggregate win.

Elton John plays at our stadium this summer and Swansea will play at the stadium that means so much to him next season after the Tigers comprehensive victory over the two legs.

And it will be either Sam Ricketts or Lee Trundle who helps their side to an unlikely Premiership place on 24 May when the two sides meet at Wembley.

Darius Henderson had given some hope to Watford with an early goal at the KC Stadium as they looked to overturn a 2-0 first leg deficit but it was not to be as goals from Nick Barmy, substitute Caleb Folan and two late goals – from Richard Garcia and Nathan Doyle earned the Tigers their shot at the promised land.

And whilst Hull and Bristol City will aim to step out of the Championship on bank holiday weekend, the identity of the two finalists who will be aiming to push into the division will be known by Friday evening.  Carlisle take on Leeds on Thursday night holding a 2-1 advantage whilst Southend and Doncaster meet again on Friday with the score deadlocked at 0-0.
