Six Month Deal For Liverpool Star?

Forest have joined Swansea in the queue to sign the player who won the Swans young player of the year award last season.   His former club Hull's promotion to the Premiership last weekend seems to have dampened the rumours of a return there leaving the Swans and Forest as the front runners for the winger.

And with the Swans looking at a loan deal and Forest reported as being prepared to pay as much as £2m for Ando then it seemed as if the former European champions had taken the advantage in the deal.

But following on from Chairman Huw Jenkins comments that the move would not be about money but would be down to what was best for Anderson's plans, the player has pretty much echoed those sentiments word for word by stating “I will go back to Liverpool, sit down with them and have a chat about what they think I've done this season.

“I think they have been at most of my games and, hopefully, they are pleased with what they've seen.

“I've had a bit of feedback from Gary Ablett, the Liverpool reserve-team manager, who says I've done well and says there's no reason why I can’t go back and push for a first-team place.

“But, personally, I can’t see myself breaking into the Liverpool first team next season.

“I'm still young, I’ve still got a lot to learn and I would think a six-month loan up until Christmas will be what I'm looking for.”

There is of course still the chance that the loan move could be to Forest and there have been reports that Liverpool would prefer him to play somewhere else but with Swansea and Forest both competing at the same level, the comfort zone of what they know is proven to be good for the player and Anderson's enjoyment of his time in South Wales could yet prove to be the deciding factor.
