Martinez has been busy since the season end finalising his squad and there has already been activity in and out of the Liberty Stadium this summer – Andy Robinson and Kevin Austin have gone in recent weeks whilst this week the latest two Spaniards arrived in Swansea to play their part in the next twelve months or more.
And with Roberto back out on the continent again there is expected to be more arrivals in the next few weeks. Roberto has long since said that he would like his squad finalised by the time the players report back for pre-season training on June 26 and he seems to be well on course to meet that goal.
There have been links already this summer with Mark Gower (Southend), Alberto Serran (Espanyol) and Swindon goalkeeper Peter Breznovan amongst others and Roberto admits that there will be another three or four arrivals as a minimum this summer.
"Over the next few days, there's going to be more.
"We have still got, out of our target, another three or four positions that we need to finalise."
And on the subject of Serran, linked earlier this week, Roberto said "He is a defender that made his debut in La Liga this season and has played at international level with Spain," said Martinez.
"We have watched him a few times, he has a huge reputation and it doesn't go further than that."
