Derby County Still In For Ferrie Move?

Only last Friday their Chairman – Adam Pearson – announced that they would be pursuing other targets after the Swans dismissed a second bid for the midfielder and seemed certain to hold out minimum for the £2m transfer fee they were talking.

But it seems that Pearson forgot to tell one person in particular – his manager Paul Jewell – who still aims to try and secure the services of Bodde as he prepares for life in the Championship.

"The door isn't shut," Jewell said.

"We would love to sign Bodde and, if Swansea can be sensible about a price, we can do a deal."

The Daily Star also reports that Derby could be ready to return for the player with a seven figure bid – something that is still unlikely to attract Swansea especially amid speculation that the player is about to ask to remain at the Liberty.

50% of the profit made on Bodde will be due to Den Haag.
