Bodde told skysports.com that he wants to be given the chance to join "a club like Derby" after plenty of speculation over his reasons for a move.
Derby have had two bids turned down for the Swans midfielder and are still looking for their asking price of £2 million whilst Derby brand this valuation unrealistic and believe the Swans should be "sensible" over their valuation of the player.
And whilst Bodde has pretty much remained silent over most of the speculation he has broken that today by stating that he wants out and Derby is his only chosen destination.
Speaking to skysports.com he said "I have loved my time with Swansea and will forever be grateful for them for giving me my break in British football
"But I have to think about my career and the prospect of joining a club like Derby County, is one I just cannot ignore.
"I really want Swansea to do a deal with Derby and give me the chance of talking to them."
And Ferrie I am sure Swansea will do just that – when Derby pay the fee that we want.
