Bodde has refused throughout this whole process pretty much to speak other than the occasional comment in the Western Mail and yet Sky Sports can always get quotes from him on the transfer saga. Ferrie is at home in Holland according to reports in Wales and won't speak to the Evening Post or the Western Mail in any depth at all.
His Dutch agent has been reported as resigning over this scenario and there are strong suggestions that he now has representation from an English agent who is the one pushing for the move with more passion than maybe the player himself.
So could it be feasibly possible that the comments are being released to Sky Sports by the agent and are not the exact words of the player himself? Sure he may be thinking some, or parts of it, but for a player who said very little even last season he seems to have some form of verbal diarrhoea as far as skysports.com are concerned.
His latest quotes state as follows "Sometimes in life you have to make tough decisions and this is one of them
"I don't want to talk much about this as I have already stated my wish to join Derby County.
"That remains my ambition and hopefully the two clubs will come to an agreement very soon.
"I would just like to say again that I have loved my time at Swansea but now is the time for me to move on."
Maybe he is making the statements himself but I find it just a little odd that Bodde would choose that medium to communicate when he would have had more dealings with the Evening Post over the past 12 months and would surely be more comfortable in talking to them.
I do firmly believe that Ferrie will not be here next season but I also believe that he is not making these statements fully aware of what is actually being said.
Some maybe but not all.
