What A Load Of Rubbish

The problem at the Vetch is that teams come to defend. Therefor the problem tonight is that being the home team Carlisle must have attacked. I have now supported our team for 40 years and have seen some rubbish over the years, but in this record breaking season why do I feel like this. Sick and Angry. In work I make no excuses for being a Swans supporter but when asked why I am not ‘over the moon’ going for promotion, I have to be honest with the reply that we are not better than the rest, but they are just worse than us.I do not expect class just 100% effort and professionalism. We have all had doubts and still have them, but after the Darlington match I reported that at last I felt we would make it, maybe the players think that as well. I hope to God I am wrong, but apart from the Exeter home game, worry where the next win will come from. We have relied on the defence all season, is the pressure starting to tell. JH to go? Yes, have always thought so, not necessarily for what has been happening on the pitch, but from my understanding of his interviews. Quote roughly, ‘We will be tested’. I firmly believe he means – look what my team can do against the big boys. Sorry JH you are tested against the bad teams. No words of passion just bland statements which reflect the football we are watching. Passion commitment inner strength, we need it now, please show it. Over the years I have said ‘no more’ many times, but here I am still with the sickness, that I have now passed onto my 2 sons Make no mistake we will be down for the Peterborough game unless a cure can be found for self inflicted torture. Do I feel better for writing this? Will anyone bother to read it? Does it make sense? Does it flow? No just the outpouring as it comes to mind. I think it was Phil who made the comment 2-3 months ago that the list has more hits when the team is not doing well and we have a go at each other. I agree and it has been proven over the last few days. We are all feeling the strain. I want to be optimistic, please show me some. Statistics and records show nothing. 4 games 3 draws 1 defeat 3 points from 12 2 goals Chester last game 3 points 5 goals I don’t care if we have 7 0-0 boring draws as long as we get promotion. We hopefully will be at Rotherham singing our hearts out, with not a thought for what has gone on this season. But give it 2 days for reality to set in, and the worry of the next 12 months will eat away at us unless some at least 2 midfielders and one forward of experience come in. I am drained, could go on and on, but we all know the words. Moaning, sarcastic, whinging, downhearted Yes all of these, but these are all outnumbered by I CARE Sleep well
