Vincent Kompany just about confirmed the arrival of Michael Obafemi at Burnley when talking to the press at the end of his side’s FA Cup draw at Ipswich today.
The saga that is the move of Obafemi appears to be coming to an end with the news earlier in the week that a fee had been agreed between the two teams and when asked about the move today Kompany was certainly in no mood to deny the transfer.
Kompany was asked by Lancs Liveย after the Portman Road stalemate whether Obafemi was all but in the building, Kompany said: “It is a fair suggestion.”
The publication goes onto suggest that the fee will be around ยฃ3.5m with an obligation to buy in the summer following the initial loan.
