Tyson was floored by a challenge from Plymouth goalkeeper Romain Larrieu and was immediately stretchered off the pitch.
Richard Evans, speaking to the official site said "If that is the case, then Nathan is looking at possibly as much as 8 or 9 months on the sidelines. We will just have to wait and see, but I’d be surprised to see him play again for us."
This is a double blow for Tyson who had started impressively for the Swans and was looking to use this opportunity to try and get noticed by the Reading management.
If it does prove to be the end of Tyson’s season, our sincerest sympathies are with the player.
