The Swans hopes of progressing in the LDV trophy have disappeared after a last minute goal from Steele sent the second division side through after Swansea had lead through an early goal by Jonathan Coates.
Before the match, approximately 2,000 Swansea supporters walked from Castle Square to the Vetch in response to Tony Petty’s running of the club and his attempts to sack seven players.
A crowd of 2,851 was higher than normally expected for this kind of fixture and following from last night’s meeting in the Patti Pavilion shows the feeling of the Swansea support for Petty’s actions.
What next is the question after Petty turned down two bids from the local business consortium today claiming that รยฃ1m was nearer the mark he was looking for – joker! It is now time to try different things to raise the pressure on the man and see what kind of a response we can obtain from him.
I say boycott, but it has to be something that everyone is comfortable with.
