The Egos Have Landed

On the day that Tony Petty paid his ร‚ยฃ100k into the court to finally kill of Mel Nurse’s request for an administration order, the Ego’s are back in town with two supporters deciding that they are the voice of the fans. Well, let me tell you, they are not my voice and never will be.

Tony Davies and Steve Edwards. You have to ask what they are up to? Three weeks ago, they wanted part of a fan’s board and accepted the free tickets offered by Tony Petty to attend the Rushden and Diamonds game. And whilst the majority of the crowd sang for the exit of Petty, these two sat back and sung nowt.

Tony Davies then I believe headed off abroad as part of his job and Edwards moved on with wanting Petty Out. Now one is back, and guess what? They both are on a 10-man fan’s board and claiming that this is the voice of the fans.

Well, they can say nothing from me because they will not be my spokesmen and never will be. They can sit on this fan’s board until they have splinters up their a se but who elected them as the fan’s voice? Not me that’s for sure. Surely this is something the trust should be up to, or have they got more sense?

It seems we have some ego trips walking around at the moment and some names keep cropping up every time those two words are mentioned in quick succession. If they want to be part of Petty’s plans then that is fine by me but please join me in my condemnation of their actions and make it clear that they are not, nor will they ever be, the voice of the fans of Swansea City.

Loose Cannons and Ego’s – a dangerous game. Petty may be here to stay for a while but why entertain him at the same time? What are the two idiots up to this time?
