Home > Story Index >Play-Off Hopes Ended |
Tuesday’s defeat at Shrewsbury put pay to any lingering hopes that people may have had of us reaching the play-offs this season. We are now 26 points away from what I predict we will need for the play-offs with only a further 24 points available to play for. |
The top 7 remains unchanged team wise at the moment with Plymouth Argyle reaching the predicted play off target with their midweek win and Luton securing at minimum a play-off position. There are now only 10 sides who I believe can actually achieve automatic promotion and I expect at least three of these to drop out of that race on Saturday due to the unlikely string of results that they will need to put together. |
For the record, the promotion target at the moment is 80 points and the play-off target 72. Here are the tables. |
