The PFA have short-listed the seven players who are up for the Division Three player of the year award – these being the seven players who have won monthly prizes. Leon faces competition from Oxford trio, Bobby Ford, Andy Crosby and David Waterman together with Kevin Miller and Glenn Cronin from relegation rivals Exeter and Shaun Marshall from Cambridge United. | ||||

Britton was presented with his award for February last Friday prior to the game with Oxford. It was the only happy incident in a night that lasted just eight minutes for Leon but this was balanced with reports today that he could be back in time for the Scunthorpe game on April 12th. | ||||
Fans have until midnight on April 10th to register their vote for player of the year with the winners being announced on April 29. As with the monthly prizes, the fans are also in with a chance of winning with one fan who votes for the winning player being drawn to win the following: –
