27.06.03 – 7.47am – It’s the morning of the fifth eviction from the house and Nick Rees is first out of bed. He is starting to miss home now and is wondering what has been happening with the Swans while he has been in the house. All of a sudden he wishes he had access to Swans World but he keeps this to himself he wouldn’t want Peter to be aware of that fact.
27.06.03 – 9.04am – Myra is doing the housework. She is using the hoover to clear up the mess (there has been no hoovering done since they arrived in the house) – there is a near disaster when she all but vacuums up Leon Britton but this is avoided when his show gets stuck in the pipe and he is rescued albeit covered in a bit of dust.
27.06.03 – 11.27am – There are now just nine hours until one of the housemates gets evicted and Steve Watkin is convinced it is going to be him. He is packing his suitcase ready although this is proving to be quite a challenge as he either misses the case or he holds his clothes up for too long and the chance to pack them has disappeared. James Thomas also believes that he will be going this week and is packing three suitcases ready. Peter Owen tries to sell his case but can find no takers while Leigh is more concerned with campaigning for a better case "Cash For Cases" is his new slogan.
27.06.03 – 3.49pm – Big Jack Brother has provided the housemates with a football and they are playing a game of four-a-side in the garden. The team of James Thomas, Leon Britton, Myra and Nick Rees are beating the others by 17 goals to nil. This is hardly surprising as Jason Smith has been carried off injured, Leigh is busy running the "Money For Medication" campaign and Peter Owen is taking notes for his match report. Steve Watkin is holding the ball up well but finding that it is being taken off him too often. Myra is proving to be a formidable rock at the heart of the winning defence.
27.06.03 – 6.14pm – Two hours to go and it is the last meal that the group will share with eight people in the house. Leon Britton has cooked a meal of happy face spaghetti hoops, ‘dippy bread’ with Jelly and Ice Cream for desert. No-one is allowed to leave the table until they have a clean plate.
27.06.03 – 8.24pm – The housemates have gathered on the sofa ready for the eviction voting. Most have dressed up for the occasion bar James Thomas who has had on three different outfits so far.
27.06.03 – 8.41pm – The dreaded voice fills the house "Housemates you are live on JackArmy.net please do not swear. The public have been voting all week and I can now reveal that the fifth person to leave the Big Jack Brother House is………………."
27.06.03 – 8.42pm – "………………….Steve Watkin. Steve you have just over one hour to pack and say your goodbyes, we’ll be coming to get you." The housemates turn to commiserate with Steve but he wonders why as he missed what the announcement was.
27.06.03 – 9.58pm – Steve Watkin is all packed and ready to leave the house. At the moment he is practicing walking towards the door in the hope that he can get through it first time.
27.06.03 – 10.14pm – Steve Watkin has said his goodbyes and is the fifth person to leave the house. He manages to get through the door on the third occasion. As the door closes behind him the housemates wonder how he will cope again with the outside world.
27.06.03 – 11.27pm – The housemates all retire to bed for the night. In seven days from now one of them will again be evicted – you can decide who by casting your vote by making your selection below.
