• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

England will probably win a test after the series is lost and claim that they've finished in style and are on the up.

Adelaide and Sydney will still be draws so I’m going England to defy history and logic in Brisbane and ruin Aussie Christmas in Melbourne.
To win an Ashes series in Australia (even against this Aussie batting line-up) you have to have bolloxs the size of medicine balls. The jury's out I'm afraid.

Certainly is very much out. Four games to go though. Spirits up, stiff upper lip and all that bulldog spirit etc.

I’m not gonna pretend it altered the result in any way but that DRS call to give Jamie smith out caught behind was a disgrace.

Shocking batting by England in that 2nd innings, 5-0 drubbing on the cards yet again.

Root out for a miserly 8 run's, what is it with and the Aussies, he fills his pants virtually every time he plays against them.

Hopeless. Just no intelligence with the situation.

Just adapt. One boring innings and they were home and dry.

Abject failure

Terrible batting. How many got out to wide balls outside the offstump. This wasn't a time for Bazball. There was plenty of time to get their heads down and elbows up while playing themselves in. They should have concentrated on occupying the crease and building a large lead.

Apparently the batsmen don’t need a bit of pink ball experience before the second test.
Seems crazy to me and arrogant when they’ve nothing to be arrogant about.

So England decided to have a warm up game after all to "knock the rust off"..They just chose the first test!
