• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Nothing to argue with there. It’s Starmer Derangement Syndrome or perhaps Labour Derangement Syndrome.

Which is shit but how is it Starmer’s fault that you can’t afford to retire?

Part of the problem is that we aren’t use to governments governing because for about ten years and definitely since the EU referendum the last successive governments and prime ministers did very little of it. Your mileage will vary of course on how well this one is governing but at least it...

Fuel duty should have been increased years ago. It’s become a sacred cow in taxation terms.

no. Because we’re not talking about tenners. If a relative of yours or mine left us £500k, neither you nor I have paid tax on that income.

    What Ewe Watching

Weapons. Sky Cinema and I dare say elsewhere. The film based on the book Stephen King never wrote. His influence is all over it. Thoroughly enjoyed.

“The people inheriting the money haven’t paid a penny in taxation on it”. Exactly. Does my head in when people say “but tax has already been paid on it”. Not by you it hasn’t.

And exactly the same principle applies to inheritance tax. IMO.

Again parts of this thread are an object lesson in people swallowing everything fed to them by an irredeemably biased press, social media being run by the people with the money and power, and WhatsApp. This is how they win. It’s terrifying really when you see what’s happening in the USA...

Nunez is worse than Ronald. No wonder the recruitment bloke got the tin tack.

I agree with you completely apart from the word “hidden”. These agendas aren’t hidden anymore.
