Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
There is truth in the improvement in public services during that period.
But let’s also mention the fact the economy was booming in the 90s the World was in a much much better place. Blair had the best opportunity any PM could ever have. No one since has had anything like it.
The austerity...
That was sent with a completely different intent and you know it. I was intrigued because of literally what I posted afterwards.
Yours was designed to be provocative.
“Do you live in Wales”
I see you lad. This is what you do, your style is to divert. To not debate but to play the man.
I’m very proud of my Welsh heritage and actually have a much deeper understanding of this stuff that I won’t go into because you don’t deserve that sort of interaction...
It’s comical because there’s nothing particularly nasty in what I said it’s an opinion which many in plaid and Welsh speaking circles would have time for.
maybe, but if you look at any of NJs posts he just constantly picks fights. Unless you agree with him this is what you get.
I know we’ve had our moments but I respect the fact you have a sense of humour. There’s nothing with him just same old aggression. It’s tiring it’s not just me it’s plenty...
Oh here we go back to form. You just strike me as a deeply unpleasant individual. There’s no humour, no self awareness. Just a bitter and twisted old man. Go away.
Core Welsh identity is completely linked to the language. The “oppressed” spiel is often linked to history and the suppression for example.
I’m sorry when I get someone with a daffodil head doing the wayals crap I can’t take it seriously. If someone is culturally Welsh, I can.
Yeah absolutely.
It’s nonsense. Reform are on march and we can’t pretend otherwise.
I do however believe in the end when it comes to a general election people will move back to reality. So that’ll be an uplift in both Labour and Tory.
Same old jingoistic claptrap but in the end how will it actually work.
How will prosper in our splendid isolationism.
I mean there’s no danger of this anyway much of the plaid vote will have no interest in pursuing a policy of flag waving bs.
Stronger as a union all day long.
This...
Umm no that’s not what I said at all thanks.
My views are very very different my point was that I had some concerns when it wasn’t cool about the scale of change.
I’ve always favoured eg FOM and a humanitarian approach to asylum that would provide safe routes and manage the issue across...
Haha no it won’t.
They of course know this. But the trick is fooling people into believing that their vote will count on this area.
The key issue facing the valleys, Conwy etc - small boats!!!
It is actually quite depressing
