I totally agree it's "the woman's choice". I am pro-abortion. The issue I have is that people are silenced when they give their views/beliefs on the subject. Even if it changes 1 woman's/girls mind about abortion and that child lives. Isn't that worthy of the discussion?

The reason I originally posted on here was give my view on people's use of language when they don't agree with someone else's views. At no point did I say people were being silenced on here. I mentioned "silenced" as I correctly understood that you were posting about what Kirk had said. He was "silenced" for his views.

48,000 waw that's horrendous 😢. Nobody knows whether those murders would still have happened if there were gun laws the same as we don't know if there would have been more than 30 murders in London if we relaxed our gun laws. I believe that it's a society problem.

Would that by-election be in Manchester? He may be a popular in Manchester (I do like some of the things that he has said) but he would also be representing the labour party. Would you class all reform supporters as "knuckle draggers"? Or just their candidates?

Sorry Smurph. I was just stating a fact. The point is people are allowed to discuss their views. Whether everyone agrees with their view is a different matter. People are far to quick to silence other people who they don't agree with.

The labour party can put whoever they want on a paper for a by-election. Without convincing the voters to vote for that person then they would just loose the seat. Do you honestly see ANY Labour candidate winning, with Labour in it's current state? 🤔

That is exactly the point of the discussion Jack. People on both the left and right think that it's ok to post disgusting things online when something horrendous happens. I personally think that goes beyond freedom of speech.

The vast majority of people would just bury their heads in the sand (unless it was their situation). Fair play to the likes of Kirk who are happy to diplomatically debate such issues. Surely discussing an issue is better than getting constant 5 sec snippets from left/right algorithms.

I apologise, you are correct. He did indeed say that in that situation the mothers life would be more important than the unborn child.

I ask as it was brought up about the rights and wrongs of abortion of a life conceived through rape. Kirk was asked a hypothetical question weather he believed it would be ok to have aborted. Based on his religion "he is against alll abortion".
