Yes, the new guy needs the 2/3rds majority to overturn and amend the changes Orban introduced. There are claims he packed the supposed independent judiciary with his own people, curtailed the freedom of the press and was responsible for rampant corruption. It appears that his government had close ties with Moscow which is kind of surprising given the way the Russians crushed Hungary in 1956.

Good riddance, that said his replacement is cut from a similar cloth and was a member of Orban)s party until a few years ago. Hopefully the new guy will launch the Russians out. Orban was right wing, but he was a member of the Communist Party back in the day.
His mate Fico in Slovakia has similar pro Russian views, Fico was also a member of the Communist Party while the billionaire Babis who is in charge of the Czech Republic is ex KGB. It really is surprising how the people in these countries can bore in these pro Moscow regimes after the way Russia treated them back in the day.
