• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Go to ATS or somewhere like that. There are different types of refrigerant but they will work out which one you need. Hopefully no more than £100.

Have you not got cold air or is the system making a noise?

I’ve got cold air but it doesn’t seem cold enough.

It's almost certainly an aircon system made by our company, albeit produced in Japan rather than UK.

When you take it in they might ask if you want a recharge and an anti-bac treatment. The latter isn't critical, but it can solve bad smells which come from the system.

I like you. 😍

I had a similar problem with my Kia which has a 7 year warranty but was told thar the a/c was only covered for 2 years. My car was 2 weeks over the 2 years but they did it for free. Check if yours is covered by a warranty and take it to the dealers.

Have a butchers at this, see what the price comes back as. Might be worth trying an independent too, there’s a place in the Ferry near the old Double P motors, not sure if they’re any good or not. Going to get my boys car sorted in the next few weeks.

Kwikfit don’t charge if they can’t improve the cooling by 10%. Useful if you’re not sure if your AC is buggered.
Just chucked my reg in this link and they want £160 for a recharge! My previuos car comes up as £65. Jeepers.

Edit. looks like MajorR’s ATS is much cheaper

It’s usually the refrigerant type that drives the price, not the car itself.
