Boris Johnson used a term "letterbox" and a few others about 3-4 years ago .........should he fall on his sword?

Yes. But different standards apply to politicians for reasons I still don’t understand.
 
Where is the line drawn legally though?

It's not often you'll see someone step down over what they said years ago.

Has Michael Vaughan been stripped of his MBE?
If he's been suspended from his cricket show then surely that's going to be the next step....unless his legal team get involved?

A can of worms is opening here.
