I’d imagine they're in a fairly decent position to extract a better pay rise with a national shortage in HGV drivers,I know of a local company who’ve allegedly given their drivers 2 pay rises so far this year.

I have a few mates in the police who are getting a pay freeze this year, which with inflation currently at around 4% is a pay cut. They feel it’s a right kick in the teeth.
