Swanjaxs said:Is he really! Always thought he was from Cardiff for some reason
Was up there today visiting an emergency dentist, place looks bleak to be honest.
Funny thing happened, as I was walking towards the practice someone beeped thier horn and waved at me
Muteswan said:Were you wearing a sheepskin jacket by any chance?
Swanjaxs said:Yes! And a flat cap

jack_lord said:Because of his really strong Cardiff accent? Funny story of sorts (in hindsight). He was big mates with my dad who had passed away suddenly and by coincidence he had popped around our house to see my dad and there were a number of people (family friends in bereavement) at the house and he was joking about not being invited to the party.
Lifelong said:Gareth Edwards was a very good footballer almost signed professional with the Swans.
I played against him many years ago when he was guesting for his local Gwaun Cae Gurwen Neath League side Colbren Rovers.
Niigata Jack said:Colbren Rovers, what a place my lad played up there once, we froze our wotsits off watching !
Lifelong said:There’s a Colbren a few miles above Ystradgynlais, they also had a football team, not sure why the Gwaun Cae Gurwen club called themselves Colbren Rovers.
Niigata Jack said:This place was near Seven Sisters off the to the right hand side going along the road from Glyn Neath to Abercrave.
Lifelong said:That’s the village Colbren near Abercrave and Onllwyn, it’s nowhere near Gwaun Cae Gerwen.
