• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Surely it will be much better value for money to operate the 2 runways 24/7. There's a 6 hour moratorium on flights every day, so increasing from 18 hours a day to 24 hours ago provides 33% extra capacity without spending much on infrastructure.

Instead, spend the savings to generously compensate neighbours or buy them out, then use those houses to home other people.

Bluddy hell, and Cardiff airport is so under-used too.
They ought to put all the circling flights through to Cardiff and use a bit of Ryanair licence with geography. Foreigners won't know the difference.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking, please fasten your seatbelts, we will shortly be landing at London Wales airport".

One the bones of our arses and Reeves gives the go ahead for 3rd runway, you really couldn't make this shit up.

There are a couple of small villages which will be displaced by the building of the third runway. The M25 also has to be rerouted. A truly huge infrastructure project which makes you question if there is a better way.

The last time the 3rd runway was in discussion, the plan was to put the 3rd runway over the top of the M25 which would go through a tunnel.
Seems a bit crazy to have one airport with 3 runways when others, like Gatwick have 1. Although it would make it more of a hub
