Lamport Hall in Northamptonshire has really made a very big cock up in asking for musicians to play at an event and offered to give them a food hamper in payment. As you might imagine it’s not gone down well with musicians around the country.
Lamport Hall has received payments from the Covid Arts funding (cultural recovery grants) whereas many musicians were unable to claim anything.
I’ve never been to this place but I’m sure I’ll not give them a penny of my money after this disgraceful act.
Their Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts have been swamped by comments left by furious musicians , this was the original post;
