All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
Thank you though for all the memories

Someone I've never met, who hasn't eaten them himself, says that he's heard from anonymous sources that they're apparently safe to eat. Probably. That's good enough for us!

As it’s a Bank Holiday I’ll tell you the story.
About 40 years ago early one beautiful Saturday morning in late September a few friends and I grabbed a few cans and strolled up Baglan Mountain to pick mushrooms of the magic variety.
We picked a couple of carrier bags full and sat down in the field to have a can and a few joints,one of the boys reached into a carrier bag,grabbed a handful of mushrooms and threw them in his mouth,we all followed and ended up having a couple of handfuls each,this is now lunchtime on Saturday.
The next thing I know is my mother bursting into my bedroom around 8am the following Sunday morning screaming like a f*cking banshee.
I have no recollection of anything but I’d somehow got home but before going to bed I’d gone in the bathroom,sat on the side of the bath and shit in the bath,not only that but it was all over my hands too and when my mother had opened the bathroom door there was shit all over the handle and she’d put her hand in it.
