The Conservatives need a new leader, and they'll walk the next general election after comrade Corbyn sent Labour back decades

Politics is broken and has been for a long time. No-one votes on principles any more - it's all about spin, promises and personalities. Bojo epitomises that, which I find quite sad.

I can see sunak being PM at the next election , best labour can hope for is to close the gap or a hung parliament , the worst of covid might be over the the financial consequences will last decades , taxes are going up which will annoy Tory voters who as we know only vote Tory for a few extra quid a week in their pockets

The way to beat the Tories is for the anti Tories to work together. If we can't get PR by parliamentary means, we should get it by de facto means. Labour, Lib Dems, Greens, nationalists should get together and organise an electoral pact. Only one anti Tory candidate to stand in each constituency, the one with the best chance of winning. And when the Tories are ousted, the new government should bring in PR as a priority, banish the House of Lords and introduce a written constitution. That'll do for starters.

Yes your right , since labour lost all its Scottish seats its hard to see how they could win an election on their own , I wouldn't be opposed to even labour and the lib dems becoming one party , there is not much difference between them, the Tories think they are assured of election victories forever now, but just what kind of country it will be will change

Good plan but it’s ten years or several ministerial terms in the making.
